Universal Trucks Israel (UTI) was established in 1994 and is the sole distributor of Isuzu Trucks in Israel , as well as a leading distributor in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Additionally, UTI offers special financing programs, short-term truck rental, fleet management, car insurance programs and more.

Challenge

  • Isuzu truck distributor, UTI wanted to replace is aging field sales contact management software with a more robust mobile CRM and E-commerce solution
  • UTI needed a real-time system integrated with SAP Business One to allow field agents to manage all sales activity from a handheld device
  • Previous non-mobile sales system detracted from the field’s selling efforts and resulted in decreased close rates and time inefficiencies
  • UTI required a customizable solution to accommodate its field staff in multiple locations and subsidiaries while being fully integrated with back office functionality
  • With multiple systems by multiple vendors in a non-integrated environment, data was decentralized, collaboration was made difficult, and company information was spread across different systems

Solution

  • UTI choose TopManage’s private cloud sales platform, OLK, to be integrated with their existing SAP Business One and Automotive Distributor add-on by Xioma
  • OLK was configured to mimic the automotive distributor add-on and seamlessly integrate with SAP Business One, giving the end users the feeling of “one system does it all”
  • OLK Mobile CRM, the mobile customer relationship management application of the Web-based sales platform, allowed UTI sales reps to access real-time customer information from their smart phones
  • OLK Mobile CRM offered sales reps the opportunity to review customer order history, check real-time inventory, and place orders, all from their handheld device

Results

  • OLK Mobile CRM and E-commerce functionality integrated with SAP Business One allowed UTI to streamline business processes and accelerate profitable growth
  • UTI sales reps were able to make informed decisions based on real-time data while in the field
  • Quick access to customer information and inventory improved customer service
  • OLK- SAP Business One integration created one central location for all data and required functionality
  • Previous systems by multiple vendors were labeled obsolete and discontinued, resulting in big savings in resources
  • UTI increased Isuzu Trucks market share to 60% becoming the clear leader  in the Israeli market for light and mid-size trucks
